My golden retriever's name is Er Leng โ a playful nickname in Chinese that means someone a little silly, a little goofy, and endlessly lovable. He came into our home in 2013, carried through the door in my father's arms. After my father's unexpected passing in 2025, this project became my way to honor their bond and the warmth Er Leng continues to bring.
